The Designer
Hyam Hamdon
As the designer of Elite Design Build, Hyam brings over 10 years of interior design experience. She’s worked on projects, both large and small scale, from a basic colour consultation to working along side engineers to ensure clients are maximizing their space’s potential. Her passion for design, attention to detail and her drive to push for the highest standards of workmanship are evident in every project she takes on.
Hyam strongly believes that spaces should be a reflection of yourself, whether it be a modern approach or a timeless traditional one. She is passionate about green design and enjoys repurposing elements throughout the process to ensure there is limited waste. Quite often, these are the aspects that bring character and substance to the spaces.
Hyam has completed her Residential Interiors Certificate at the University of Alberta to go alongside her years of experience in the design industry.
The Builder
Ali Handous
Ali is the head builder and contractor at Elite Design Build. He graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2002. Ali is a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) and a member of the Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
With more than two decades of experience working in the construction industry, Ali brings the technical design expertise to the process. He oversees that construction and trade work are done correctly and to code, ensuring the integrity of the build follows the planned design.
